Duty to God - 2017 National Jamboree

A variety of faith groups are present at the Jamboree, these faith groups and the Chaplain Corps, tend to the spiritual needs of the youth, leaders and staff.
Jamboree Duty to God Award
Scouts have an opportunity to earn their “Duty to God and Country” patch while at the Jamboree. The Duty to God and Country requirements are outlined below.
- Learn about your faith's religious emblem by visiting the "Religious Emblems Experience" in the "Duty to God and Country" area at Summit Center.
- Visit three (3) faith-based booths, including your own faith group, if available, in the "Duty to God and Country" area at Summit Center.
- Visit the "Jamboree Day of Service" or "Messengers of Peace" display booths.
- Meet your Subcamp Chaplain and discuss how you are fulfilling your Duty to God.
- Use the Daily Devotional Guide (located on this site)
- Offer grace before meals at least three times during the Jamboree.
- Attend a worship service during the weekend of July 22-23, 2017.
