A Boy Scout goes to the Jamboree!
Check in Day has arrived, traveling to the Ruby Welcome Center this morning to begin the next part of the Jamboree Journey!
Prayers for all staff who are traveling to the Jamboree site over the next few days and for their families. These amazing volunteers who pay out of their on pocket to attend, so they can make a difference in the lives of the youth of America! Praying also for the 30,000 youth and adult leaders who are traveling by train, plane, & bus, culminating in their arrival in West Virginia on Wednesday, July 19th.
The Scout featured on the cover of this classic Life Magazine was headed to the 1950 National Scout Jamboree at Valley Forge. This Jamboree was the first one held after WWII
